I have had lower back pain for about 27 years off and on. Last spring things changed, I woke one morning and my legs were numb and I had excruciating pain in my back. This scared me enough to find out what was wrong. After all the tests and visits with a surgeon, I was given pain medication and told that they couldn't do anything for me at this time.
